America's most famous mountain was renamed by explorer Zebulon Pike in 1806. Hiking the Manitou Incline is now legal! (Not that it stopped anyone from hiking it before! But hey, now that it’s no longer considered trespassing, we can promote it!) And what an attraction it is! A few tips: 1) You probably won't make it all the way to the top if you're accustomed to a lower altitude; 2) Eat hearty and bring plenty of water, because you’ll work up a sweat, even on cold days; and 3) the views are amazing!
